“ I kept riding by this place on my bicycle and was mesmerized by the aromas. Finally tried it today. So just a hole in the wall place with a couple of outdoor porch tables for seating. Nonetheless a very eclectic place with all kinds of memorabilia which are fun to observe. The order takers were very friendly and personable. So the bottom line is the food. We loved it. Not overly smoked or spiced BBQ, just great natural flavors coming through. A variety of sides are available too which were good also. I will be back. Note to owners, the plastic side containers are hard to open. I suggest using something else ”
“ We got the brisket plate with Brunswick stew and Mac and cheese, a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad, and 3 red velvet cupcakes. Not only was it extremely affordable, it was all incredibly delicious. The meats were tender, the bbq sauce was tangy, the sides were flavorful, and the cupcakes were moist and fluffy! Bonus, the owner is so nice! ”
“ I usually don’t write reviews too often but I just had to! We’ve been looking for amazing bbq for a few years now. And we finally found it! Amazing food, generous portions and reasonable prices!! So so good! ”
“ Looked for reviews to find good home style BBQ as I am here for business and wanted some pulled pork. Came across this one and I am all for supporting small business. So drove 20 minutes to here and got a plate of Pulled pork, ribs and field peas. Couldn't have made a better stop!! Everything was Fantastic! Will definitely be going back on my next trip here! Also for the amount of food I got in this plate for the price was great!! ”
“ Really a hole in the wall place - perfect for a country barbecue restaurant. It's really a small place right out from a fairy tale. But dont let the good looks take away anything from the quality expectation on the food. It was really the best brisket I have had in the recent times. The owner ( who is also the chef, cashier and the server ) is a very friendly person. He said he modeled the place after his parents and grandma - very personalized and very individualistic with a lot of character. He also told me that he changes up the menu frequently. Particularly on Tuesdays. Overall I left happy and filled. ”
“ I’ve been on the search for the best brisket and ribs and pulled pork for almost 2 months. This little hidden gem is absolutely delicious. His barbecue sauce is homemade and a little spicey where I haven’t tasted anything like it. The smoke flavor is absolutely the best. And the ribs are so tender. They come right off the bone. ”
“ How did I not know this place existed prior to this weekend. First of all the customer service of this gentleman is amazing. Secondly the brisket was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth, mac & cheese was so creamy and delicious. Everything is basically cooked order, and when he runs out, he’s done for the day. Get yourself some of this barbecue people and show this place some love... ”
“ Loved this place. Did a hunt for a place to go due to being bored at the house. Got a meat plate. Ribs, brisket, pork. Ate every rib before I left the parking lot. The bbq sauce is also very unique. Which I’m also a fan of. I’ll be back for sure. ”
